Akash Deep, New Principal Secretary of Bodoland Territorial Council

KOKRAJHAR: Akash Deep, an IAS (RR-2005), has taken over the charge of Principal Secretary of BTC on Wednesday. He was Commissioner and Secretary to the government of Assam for Environment and Forest department and Development Commissioner of Hill Areas, State Project Director, ARIAS Society. Meanwhile, the existing Principal Secretary of BTC, Anurag Goel has been transferred and posted as Chief Electoral Officer, Government of Assam.

The new Principal Secretary was welcomed and felicitated with traditional Aronai by the officers and staff of the council at BTC Secretariat Conference Hall on Wednesday. The outgoing Principal Secretary Anurag Goel was also bade farewell with traditional Aronai in a simple felicitation ceremony where Secretaries, Joint Secretaries, Deputy and Under Secretaries, officers and staff of BTC Secretariat attended the function.
