All Assam Students Union (AASU) renews protest against CAA

TINSUKIA: After a brief lull following lockdown measures, the All Assam Students' Union (AASU) renewed its stir against the controversial Citizenship (Amendment) Act.

Twelve regional students' unions under the Tinsukia District Students' Union staged human chain protest in various places in the district on Tuesday. The main programme held near AASU's office at College Road Tinsukia was addressed by Samarjyoti Gohain, general secretary TDSU, office bearers of All Moran Students' Union, All Tai Asom Students' Union, Tea Tribes Students' Union and others.
