All Assam Students' Union committee formed in Lakhimpur

LAKHIMPUR: The Saboti-Lilabari branch unit of All Assam Students' Union (AASU) was formed on Tuesday.

On this occasion, a meeting was organized at Lilabari-Charigaon LP School under the chairmanship of North Lakhimpur regional AASU president Bitopan Bhuyan. In the meeting, Lakhimpur district AASU assistant general secretary Pranjit Gogoi, executive member Punamjyoti Burhagohain and North Lakhimpur regional AASU general secretary-in charge Litu Gogoi explained about AASU. In the event, the 31-member executive body of the Saboti-Lilabari branch unit of the organization was formed with Bitu Gogoi as president and Arpan Hazarika as general secretary.
