All Assam Students’ Union organizes Mukoli Bihu at Gandhi Maidam Namrup

Nahorkotia: The All Assam Students’ Union (AASU) Namrup regional unit organized one-day Mukali Bihu at Gandhi Maidam Namrup. AASU central general secretary Lurin Jyoti Gogoi was the chief guest of the event organized by Namrup AASU. AASU Namrup felicitated AASU general secretary Lurin Jyoti Gogoi, cultural secretary Anil Gogoi, AASU Dibrugarh District general secretary Shankar Jyoti Baruah and all portfolio holders of AASU, senior citizens of Namrup and journalists of Namrup, Naharkatia area with a traditional Assamese gamosa, japi and memento. Various Husori teams, Jeng Bihu team and young boys and girl performed in the Mukali Bihu programme. Invited artistes Madhav Ranjan and Susmita Trishna enthralled the audience with their songs. On the other hand, AASU Joypur Branch under AASU Naharkatia regional unit organized ‘Mukoli Bihu’ in Joypur Playground on Sunday. The chief guests were AASU general secretary Lurin Jyoti Gogoi, AASU cultural secretary Anil Gogoi and AASU Dibrugarh District General secretary Shankar Jyoti Baruah.
