All Assam Students’ Union Protest against government decision

PATHSALA: The All Assam Students’ Union (AASU) protested against the State Government’s recent move to introduce English as the medium of instruction for Science and Mathematics starting from class VI. All Bajali District Students’ Union took out a rally in Pathsala town and shouted slogans against the State Government’s decision. The activists were led by Biman Haloi, president, All Bajali District Students’ Union, Bijit Kalita, general secretary, and Dhritiraj Talukdar, Pathsala Regional Students’ Union. More than 100 students participated in the programme.
