All Moran Students' Union (AMSU) bids farewell to Arunjyoti Moran

TINSUKIA: Arunjyoti Moran, president of All Moran Students' Union (AMSU) and a firebrand and towering student leader, was accorded a formal farewell from the organization which he had led for more than a decade.

In a programme held at RajanikantaBordoloi Field Makum on Sunday in presence of several hundred well-wishers, religious heads and student organizations, Moran, clad in formal religious attire, paid obeisance and took blessings from xatradhikars before bidding adieu with an emotional speech. Earlier during the day, Moran handed over the charge to the newly-elected president of AMSU, Naba Moran at a solemn programme at BodousaBhavanBorguriTinsukia and proceeded to the Makum venue in huge bike rally.
