BOKO: All Rabha Students' Union (ARSU), All Rabha Women Council and All Rabha Six Schedule Demand Committee of Moidhyo Luki branch stage protest against the Dhupguri State Dispensary's accountant Tilak Kalita at Sukuniapara. An important medical center Dhupguri State Dispensary situated at Sukuniapara village along the NH 17 at Boko running with irregularities by the accountant. The Dhupguri State Dispensary is situated in a tribal area, where many tribal villages get profits for immediate medical assistance. During the Covid epidemic, tribal people of the remote villages get benefits from the dispensary.
In this dispensary, an allegation came to light, that the accountant of the dispensary was working with his own way and spending dispensary finance grants without anyone's concerns. Ankur Rabha, Secretary ARSU said that the accountant Tilak Kalita has spent money without the concern of the committee. Recently, the Rabha Hasong Autonomous Council (RHAC) released a grant of 7 Lakhs rupees for the waiting shed and a staff room. But the accountant refused to spend the money for construction, on the other hand, he has spent money in another sector without anyone's approval. Even, The president of the Dhupguri State Dispensary working committee, Frylin R. Marak, doesn't know anything about Tilak Kalita's official actions. Raju Rabha, Sweeper of the dispensary alleged that Tilak Kalita didn't pay his salary from the last six months. When he asked for his salary, Tilak Kalita ignored the matter. Now, the president, ARSU and other organisations along with the local public are requesting the state health minister to change the accountant Tilak Kalita. Otherwise, the situation will be worse for the significant dispensary.
