All Tea Tribes Students Association takes steps for COVID awareness in Demow

DEMOW: With the cooperation of the All Tea Tribes Students Association (ATTSA), Demow Branch, COVID testing is going on in Rajmai and Maskara Tea Estates.

Due to fake information, tea labourers were hesitant to go for COVID testing. But due to the initiative of Biswajit Nag, secretary of ATTSA, Demow Branch, Raju Bhuyan, vice-president of ATTSA, Demow Branch, and other leaders, awareness has been created among the labourers and now they are coming forward willing to get themselves covid tested.

The leaders of ATTSA Demow Branch visit the Athabari Tea Estate Hospital Isolation Centre on Monday. Under the patronage of ATTSA Rajabari sub-branch, masks were distributed in Rajabari Tea Estate on Monday. On the other hand, Bichitra Tanti, president of ATTSA, Demow branch, and other ATTSA leaders distributed food among the labourers in the Khongia Tea Estate Isolation Centre on Monday.
