Anganwadi workers under Lakhipur sub-division get mobile apps training

Silchar: In order to serve better in mother-child care, Anganwadi workers under Lakhipur sub-division Integrated Child Development Scheme (ICDS) are being given necessary training in the 8-day programme which started from February 10. This training programme is being organised at different premises. The workers in an impressive number have been attending it and they have expressed their happiness at the way the child development programme officer (CDPO) Dharanidhar Kalita has been conducting the well-meaning programme. Supervisors Purnima Kalowar, Sankari Goala, Sujala Banerjea, Romabati Devi, Hemlata Devi, Usha Kushum and block coordinator and resource person Romila Devi have been enthusiastically guiding the Anganwadi workers.

Romila Devi said, “I am delighted to see the enthusiasm and confidence of the participants and their eagerness to extend best of services to mother and child.” After training, all the Anganwadi workers will visit villages under the jurisdiction of Lakhipur ICDS centre to collect required data of families in their mobile phones. The CDPO reached out to the workers to put in their best to make the programme successful. The data so collected will help them to have proper planning and proper implementation.
