Animal feed distributed among 351 households in West Karbi Anglong

DONKAMUKAM: Animal feed was distributed among 351 households on Tuesday. About 15kg feed was distributed in each to the villages such as Sarikon, Mugasong and Baligaon under Bithung Rengthama MAC constituency in West Karbi Anglong by the Veterinary and Animal Husbandry department under the Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council (KAAC).

The distribution was led by Veterinary and Animal Husbandry Development Board chairman Ditolal Hasnu. "The feed given today is well medicated and will have no side effects on the animals," said Hasnu. The distribution was necessitated due to the recent flood where food stored for cows or pigs was washed away.
