Annual magazine of Assam Academy of Mathematics titled 'Ganit Utkarsha' released in Golaghat

GOLAGHAT: The annual magazine of Assam Academy of Mathematics, Golaghat Branch, titled Ganit Utkarsha, second edition, was released at Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Golaghat recently.

Published under Swarnalim Dutta, Magazine Secretary, AAM, Golaghat Branch, the annual magazine was released by Dr. Surajit Dutta, Principal of Chandranath Bezbaruah College, Bokakhat and a central executive member of Assam Academy of Mathematics. The programme was conducted by Sailendra Kumar Dutta Baruah, secretary, AAM, Golaghat Branch and was presided over by Dr. Bipul Chandra Bhuyan, Principal, Hemo Prova Borbora Girls' College.

One-minute silence was observed at the beginning of the programme in the memory and honour of Himen Das, the famous social worker of Golaghat and a noted decorator.

In the presence of all the members of Assam Academy of Mathematics, Golaghat Branch and other noted guests, the rank holders of Ganit Utkarsha Xadhan Pariksha, 2020 were felicitated with prize money along with books and certificates.
