Anti-CAA protest by All Assam Students' Union, Chirang district committee

BONGAIGAON: The All Assam Students' Union (AASU) Chirang district committee staged protest against the Citizenship (Amendment) Act at Basugaon in Chirang. They formed a human chain to show their protest against CAA.

Rupam Kumar Das, president of Chirang district AASU, said that people of BTAD would throw out the BJP party in the upcoming BTC election. "The BJP has betrayed the people of Assam by imposing CAA forcefully. We will never tolerate this and will give a befitting reply by throwing the party out of power," he said.
