Assam: One dies of heat stroke near Uriagaon bypass Chariali

NAGAON: Sirajul Islam, a resident of Puranigudam Chalchali Muslimgaon, died due to heat stroke near Uriagaon bypass Chariali on Tuesday afternoon.

Sources said that he was a small tea trader and he had gone to a roadside outlet to deliver some packets of tea at the outlet. But he suddenly fainted due to the extreme heat and fell.

People informed the 108 ambulance. But the ambulance allegedly did not turn up on time and Islam breathed his last at the roadside outlet.
