Appeal for review of successful candidates’ lists

TANGLA: At a time, when people of Assam as a whole have welcomed the fair and transparent process of appointments of candidates under various departments of government, a handful of candidates who cleared the last written interview but failed to clear the skill test for the ANM under third grade in the Health department in a press statement appealed the State government to review the lists of successful candidates before the distribution of their appointment letters on May 26. The deprived candidates appealed to the Chief Minister and the Health Minister to take up the review of such candidates who failed the skill test.

The group of candidates requesting anonymity alleged that after passing the written interview, they accordingly appeared in the skill test where they fared well but when the results of skill test was declared their names didn’t figure in the list of successful candidates, moreover no cut-off marks were provided. The candidates alleged that they cleared two tests at a time while some candidates who didn’t even have experience of erstwhile NRHM were selected and even those having years of experience, were not selected in the final list of successful candidates.”
