Arms and ammunition recovered in Kokrajhar district

KOKRAJHAR: Based on specific information regarding concealed illegal arms and ammunition on Wednesday, an operation was launched under the leadership of Siddharth Nahar at Ripu forest ride no. 3 under Kachugaon PS in Kokrajhar district.

During the operation, at around 3 pm, the search team recovered one 7.65 mm pistol, one magazine, 4 rounds ammunition of 7.65 mm pistol and two country-made rifles from the jungle of ride no. 3, under Kachugaon PS area which were kept concealed under a bush. The arms and ammunition were seized.
