Art competition organized at Salt Brook School, Dibrugarh

Dibrugarh: The seventh annual art competition for school students, organized by the Jananeta R Chandra Barooah Smritirakhya Samiti was held at Salt Brook School in Dibrugarh on February 17. On the occasion, Late Barooah’s niece Ila Dowerah garlanded his portrait and lit the ceremonial lamp. Bhudev Phukan, president of the Samiti welcomed the guest and participants. It was encouraging to see the enthusiasm among the youngsters who numbered over 500 from several schools in and around Dibrugarh. Winners in the various categories will be informed by SMS within March 20 and prizes will be distributed on March 31in Amolapatty Natya Mandir, Dibrugarh.
