Guwahati: While India steps into her 75th Independence Day on Sunday, August 15, 2021, the nation awaits to join the celebrations and emotions are already running high amongst all countrymen.
On Independence Day, the government and the people of the country honour the relentless struggles and the sacrifices made by the freedom fighters in order free the country from the clutches of colonial British. The National Flag is hoisted across the country and the national anthem is sung by everyone with immense pride and glory that fills our hearts.
Though this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic that has affected the entire country, the Independence Day celebrations would be a bit different from other years. The I-day celebrations would witness a low attendance in order to maintain social distancing SOPs because of the Covid-19 pandemic than previous years.
According to reports, the Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address to the nation at the Red Fort in the presence of all Olympians who won medals in The Tokyo Games 2020. Unfortunately, the event this year will be restricted to the public, but that does not mean you would miss out on showing your love for this great nation. However, this does not mean that you cannot celebrate with your family while keeping in mind COVID-19 norms. Social media would be a major platform that you can use in order to share the nationalism inside you to send across wishes and quotes to your loved ones.
Here is a compilation of some of the most interesting and
thought awaking photographs and quotes of great revolutionaries and the leaders
of the country that you can forward to your friends and family on the social
media and celebrate the Independence day with equal zest and zeal, while
staying within the safety of your homes.
