Asam Chah Janajati Mahila Samiti Takes Out Candlelight Protest in Doomdooma

DOOMDOOMA: A total of hundred women belonging to Asam Chah Janajati Mahila Samiti, Doomdooma Sakha Samiti took out a candle light procession on Thursday in protest against Manipur incident. They marched towards Doomdooma along NH 37 from Hansara Chariali and thereafter, held a protest meeting at Gandhi Chowk in the heart of the Doomdooma town. They demanded justice for the victims of Manipur and criticized the inaction of the government in containing the violence.
