ASRLM and P&RD Department organize Asomi Rongali Mela in Lakhimpur

A CORRESPONDENT

LAKHIMPUR: Assam State Rural Livelihood Mission (ASRLM) and Panchayat and Rural Development (P&RD) Department will organize the Asomi Rongali Mela in Lakhimpur district from April 10.

The three-day long event will be held at Tyag Kshetra of North Lakhimpur Town in association with the Mission Management Unit. In the event, the Self Help Groups (SHGs) from nine Development Blocks under the district will exhibit their productions and display them for sale. The Rongali Bihu delicacies will also be available in the Asomi Rongali Mela.
