Assam: 159th Birth anniversary of Laxminath Bezbarua observed

NALBARI: The 159th birth anniversary of Sahityarathi Laxminath Bezbarua will be observed on October 14 in Nalbari.

A programme titled ‘Sadhu, Sadhu, Sadhu, Khai Kanthalar Badu’ will be held. Simanta Barma, Broadcasting Executive of Akashvani Guwahati, will deliver a memorial speech on the stories of Sahityarathi Laxminath Bezbarua. The event will be conducted by the Laxminath Bezbaruah Library under Nalbari Sahitya Samaj. Ten children from different parts of the Nalbari district will tell stories written by Rasaraj Laxminath Bezbarua on the day.
