Assam: 18-Day-Old Baby Kidnapped In Bongaigaon Found Dead

Bongaigaon: In the latest development in the Bongaigaon kidnapping case, the 18-day-old baby which was missing on Friday morning has been found dead.

According to latest reports, the deceased body of the 18-day-old baby which was suspected to have been kidnapped on Thursday night has been recovered.

This has come as a matter of great grief and sadness to the mother of the baby and also the other members of the family. The news has also brought great shock to the residents of the village.

Earlier this morning, the mother of the baby was distressed as she could not find her baby beside her when she woke up from sleep. Upon searching, the baby was nowhere to be found.

An FIR was lodged in the local police station after the the whereabouts of the baby could not be known.

The baby was allegedly stolen from the mother on Thursday night when she was fast asleep along with the rest of the family. 

The place of the incident is reported to be Nankar village in the district of Bongaigaon. The villagers are now in a state of disbelief as such a cruel crime has been committed in the village.
