Assam: 31,540 people affected by flood waters in Golaghat district

A total of 41 villages in the Golaghat district have been affected by flood waters. People and animals are taking shelter on the roadside and highlands. Over 31,540 people of 41 villages under Khumtai and Dergaon, Bokakhat revenue circle in Golaghat district have been affected by floods due to raising water of Brahmaputra river.

GOLAGHAT: A total of 41 villages in the Golaghat district have been affected by flood waters. People and animals are taking shelter on the roadside and highlands. Over 31,540 people of 41 villages under Khumtai and Dergaon, Bokakhat revenue circle in Golaghat district have been affected by floods due to raising water of Brahmaputra river. The flood victims are taking shelter in various relief camp.
