Assam: ADRE Grade III And IV Results To Be Out On September 18

GUWAHATI: The Assam government has decided to announce the result of the recently held ADRE Grade III and Grade IV exam on 18th September, according to a notification on Thursday. Assam Direct Recruitment Examination(ADRE) has been gaining all the eyeballs these days with one Victor Das alleging that there is something fishy going on in the recruitment process. He has alleged that a few brokers have collected money ranging from 3 lakh to 8 lakh depending upon the post from aspirants guaranteeing them jobs. These allegations have shrouded the whole recruitment process in mystery and also have sparked doubts in the minds of serious aspirants and some of them also have descended into depression. That being said, the Assam government in order to calm the situation and also appease the aspirants have decided to announce the result of the recently held ADRE Grade III and Grade IV exam on 18th September. Assam Chief Minister, Himanta Biswa Sarma a few days ago in a statement said that the results will be declared before the Durga Puja holidays but today's notification has come as a pleasant surprise as the results will be declared much earlier than the Puja holidays. According to sources, a Chief Secretarial meeting was held with the officials of various departments of the government on September 13. It was a unanimous decision involving all the chief secretaries of various government departments to declare the results on or by 18th September. The results will be declared for 11,662 posts in various departments of the Government of Assam. According to the same source, Chief Minister Assam, Himanta Biswa Sarma will hand over the appointment letters to 11662 selected candidates at Khanapara Veterinary Field. Over 5000 posts in the Home and Political Department will be filled up while over 3700 posts in the Education department will be filled after this huge recruitment drive. There was a Viva procedure following the Written examination but due to time crunch and the prevailing hostile situation regarding the recruitment process, it is unlikely to happen, according to a source.
