MORIGAON: State Agriculture Minister Atul Bora on Friday visited Morigaon. He took part in a review meeting with the Commissioner Secretary, Director of Agriculture, Deputy Commissioner Prakash Ranjan Gharphalia, ADCs and heads of the Agriculture department at the DC's conference hall.
The minister discussed the progress of various flagship schemes like PM-Kisan, PM Fasal Bima Yojana in the review meeting. Addressing media persons, minister Atul Bora said that with an aim to bring a change in agriculture and its allied sectors, schemes had been implemented by the Central Government and the State Government in the State. The minister said that due to floods, boro paddy production had been adversely affected. He assured that the department would take steps in this regard.
