Assam: All Assam Basis Bhaona competition begins in Demow

DEMOW: All Assam Basis Bhaona Competition was organized in Demow Public Playground. As per the schedule, the programme started with flag hoisting of the Naam Ghars of Demow and its surrounding areas. After that a procession was taken out with Bhagawat in Demow and Naam Prasanga was organized. During evening the earthen lamps were lit. After that the bhaonas were performed by the cultural groups. Similarly on Wednesday and Thursday, the bhaonas were performed by the cultural groups. The competition will conclude on November 18.
