Assam: ‘Bodofa Super-50 mission yields appropriate outcome’

KOKRAJHAR: MLA of Kokrajhar East Lawrence Islary on Friday hailed Pramod Boro-led BTC government saying that the Bodofa Super-50 Mission had given desired result as altogether 16 candidates have cleared the APSC main examination which was declared on Thursday.

In a press meet held at Kokrajhar, Islary said the government of BTC had launched various missions for sustainable development of the region of which Bodofa Super-50 Mission is one of that missions. He said 50 students who are aspirants of UPSC were selected for free coaching in New Delhi and out of 36 appeared, 16 have cleared the APSC main examination this year. He said of 16 students who have cleared the APSC main examination, 8 were from Udalguri district itself, 3 from Kokrajhar, 2 each from Baksa and Udalguri and 1 from Chirang. He hoped that they will succeed in the viva test as well.

Islary said Pramod Boro led council government had launched Super-50 Missions for Engineering and Medical aspirants through which free coaching is given to 50 selected students every year. This year, 31 students have got admitted in Engineering and Medical Colleges after they came out successful in the respective entrance examinations. He also said altogether 34 students appeared in APSC examination and 27 cleared the main examination. He thanked CEM of BTC Pramod Boro for this noble mission. The press meet was also attended by BTC EM Ranjit Basumatary and spokes person of Media Cell of the UPPL Jamser Ali.
