Assam: Body of an unidentified male recovered in Sootea

JAMUGURIHAT: The body of an unidentified male was recovered from the Kaboimari bridge of Chalia Chapori on the south-eastern part of Sootea on Sunday. According to information, local people spotted a floating body stuck on the post of Kaboimari bridge on the Ghiladhari River at Chalia Chapori and immediately informed the Biswanath police. Later, the body was recovered from the river and sent for autopsy. Police suspected that the body was swept away by flood from another place.
