TINSUKIA: A fiction book in English authored by a school student was released on Thursday in presence of academicians, teachers, parents, local dignitaries and book lovers at Panitola, a suburban of Tinsukia. The book titled ‘The Hunter’s Chronicle’ was written by Raj Shankar Boruah, a student of 12th standard studying in Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya Laipuli, Tinsukia and was published by noton press.com and released by Amazon.com.

The book based on action and adventure story of a fearless leader and his determined crew after being shattered by devastating plague and beasts and navigating the ruins for an alternate earth in search of salvation. The book received much applause among reader circles and his peers. Young Raj is also an ardent music lover, singer and a guitarist.

The book was ceremoniously released by Lambeswar Chetia, former Principal of Assam Vidyapith in presence of Lakhinarayan Goswami principal Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, senior journalist Rishi Das, Guru Mohian awardee Jagyeswar Chetia, poet & teacher Deepak Senapati of Baruahula High School. The guest speakers while lauding the creativity and talent of the young student delivered some inspirational speeches. The book release programme was anchored by Manashi Khanikar, writer and teacher of Panitola HS School.
