Assam: Bullet Pierced Through Roof of Residence in Bokajan on Diwali Night

GUWAHATI: In a sensational incident, a gun bullet hit and pierced the tin roof of a household in the Bokajan town, Karbi Anglong, Assam last evening.

According to reports, a bullet pierced the tin roof of the house of one Pradip Das, a resident of Ward 2 of the Bokajan town frightening the family.

Das immediately informed the Bokajan police station.

The police hurriedly reached the spot and recovered a blank cartridge. However, it is yet to be ascertained the source of the bullet. The owner of the house said that they could not imagine that a bullet could hit their house.

Meanwhile, the police launched an investigation into the matter.
