Assam Chief Secretary Paban Kumar Borthakur visits Sivasagar

SIVASAGAR: Chief Secretary of Assam, Paban Kumar Borthakur chaired a video conference with all District Commissioners of Assam regarding the concluding ceremony of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, from the office of the District Commissioner, Sivasagar at 5 pm on Sunday.

Earlier, the Chief Secretary visited the historic Shiva Dol and paid obeisance to lord Shiva. The Chief Secretary, who arrived in the Sivasagar district as a part of his tour to several districts of Upper Assam, was accorded a warm welcome by District Commissioner Aditya Vikram Yadav. He then left for Charaideo district with several programmes.

According to information, on Monday, he will make visits to the Nominated Property of Charaideo Archaeological Site, Site Museum to see the excavated antiquities and interaction with local stakeholders and buffer area of Charaideo Archaeological Site. He will then attend a review meeting on PM flagship programme, CM priority programmes, etc. of the Sivasagar district.
