Assam: CM announces increase in production capacity of Bongaigaon and Numaligarh Refinery

The capacity of the Bongaigaon Refinery has been increased from 2.5 MT to 5 MT at a cost of Rs. 10,000 crores. While the capacity of the Numaligarh Refinery has been increased from 3 MT to 9MT at a cost of Rs. 23,000 crores.

This announcement was made by the Chief Minister through his Twitter post.

"Assam is on the path of industrial development. The production capacity of Bongaigaon Refinery was increased from 2.5 MT to 5 MT at a cost of ₹10,000 crores. Simultaneously, the production capacity of Numaligarh Refinery increased from 3 MT to 9 MT at a cost of ₹ 23,000 crores: CM'' said the tweet.
