KOKRAJHAR: In a goodwill gesture, Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma will lay the foundation stones of various projects worth Rs. 882.21 crore in Tamulpur district of BTR on December 7.
Sarma will attend the bhumi pujan for the construction of Tamulpur Medical College and Hospital on December 7 at Tamulpur, the headquarter town of the new Tamulpur district in the presence of CEM of BTC, Pramod Boro and guardian minister of Baksa district, UG Brahma. On that day, the Chief Minister will lay the foundation stones of RCC bridges over River Mothonga in Kumarikhata-Kawli-Guwabari road, Dakhin-Kumarikhata-Nagrijuli road and another bridge over the Balti River.
He will also lay the foundation of development and upgradation of Kumarikhata-Nayabasti road and a bridge over a canal in between Kala River and Pagladia River. Besides, he will lay the foundation stone of construction of mini stadium and will inaugurate the newly-constructed nine model Anganwadi Centres.
The Chief Minister will lay the foundation stone of two model colleges at Tamulpur and Nagrijuli on that day in presence of CEM of BTC, Pramod Boro, guardian minister UG Brahma, MLA Jolen Daimary and Deputy Commissioner of Baksa, Bidyut Bikash Bhagawati.
