Due to the lack of patrolling by the police, theft cases are on the rise in Pathsala. As per the report, thieves looted hardware items worth Rs 60,000 from ‘Om Hardware’ near a petrol pump, around 100 metres away from Pathsala railway station.

PATHSALA: Due to the lack of patrolling by the police, theft cases are on the rise in Pathsala. As per the report, thieves looted hardware items worth Rs 60,000 from ‘Om Hardware’ near a petrol pump, around 100 metres away from Pathsala railway station. The incident came to light when the owner reached the shop on Sunday morning and saw that the backside of the door lock was broken.

The owner of the shop, Pallab Das, said that earlier, many thieves looted his shop and other shops as well. A team of Pathsala police officers reached the spot and started the investigation. As per information, earlier thieves looted cash and gold ornaments from many houses.
