Assam: Dibrugarh celebrates ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony of Ram Lalla

DIBRUGARH: The people of Dibrugarh celebrated the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony of Ram Lalla at Ayodhya. The ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony of Ram Lalla was done by Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Ram Temple in Ayodhya. All Hindu organisations and people of Dibrugarh took out colourful rallies to mark the grand occasion. Under the banner of Vishwa Hindu Parishad, many programmes were held at different locations of Dibrugarh town.

Bajrang Dal took out a rally where over thousands of youths participated in the rally wearing traditional attire. The youths holding banners and posters of Lord Ram chanted ‘Jai Shri Ram’ which rented the air.

In the evening, over thousands earthen lamps were lit to mark the grand occasion. The people burnt crackers in HS road area of Dibrugarh town. Many cultural programmes were held in the town and children participated in the programmes.
