Assam: District Commissioner Swapneel Paul, inspects school, water supply scheme

DOOMDOOMA: District Commissioner, Tinsukia district, Swapneel Paul visited Bordubi Tea Estate Adarsha Vidyalaya on Wednesday and interacted with the students of the school.

The District Commissioner also inspected the infrastructure of the school and the quality of the midday meal prepared for the students. The District Commissioner then visited Gabharubheti Hindi Primary School and took stock of the teaching process, infrastructure, clean drinking water supply and quality of mid-day meal of the school. He also interacted with the students of the school.

After inspecting the two schools, the District Commissioner inspected the Rupjan Water Supply Scheme in Phillobari constructed under the Jal Jeevan Mission and took stock of the progress of the scheme. The District Commissioner then inspected the newly-constructed Bamungaon Public Water Supply Scheme under the Jal Jeevan Mission and visited the residences of the beneficiary families to ensure adequate water flow in the household tap connections.

The District Commissioner also visited Madhapur ration shops under Phillobari Gabharubheti Gaon Panchayat and checked the stock register and other essential documents.
