Assam: Draft list of Howraghat polling stations released

HOWRAGHAT: Working ahead of schedule, the District Election Officer of Karbi Anglong has released the draft list of polling stations for the newly-delimited legislative constituency of 109 Howraghat.

This assembly constituency is one of the 126 constituencies of the Assam Legislative. Howraghat region forms a part of Autonomous District Lok Sabha Constituency and a Scheduled Tribe reserve constituency. The office of the District Election Officer has stated that residents of the locality can now review the draft list, and raise claims or objections on the list; all such claims and objections will be addressed by the District Election Officer’s office before October 31.

These essential exercises symbolize authority’s advancement in the electoral procedure to make sure about intelligibility and equality in the forthcoming elections.
