Assam: Drivers urged to submit relevant documents

TINSUKIA : The District Transport Officer Tinsukia Rajib Pegu made an appeal to all drivers and owners of commercial vehicles to submit relevant documents and fitness certificate within the stipulated time. In an emergent meeting held at the office of DTO Tinsukia with Rajib Pegu in the chair on Tuesday in presence of Dhan Bahadur Newar president Sadou Asom Gari Chalak Santha and Nirupam Borah organisational secretary, it was decided to settle the vehicle related issues before September 15. Pegu also urged upon the drivers and the owners to refrain from misusing Motor Vehicle Act. The meeting was attended by more than 40 drivers and owners.
