Assam Education Minister Dr. Ranoj Pegu pitches for LP school amalgamation

SILCHAR: Assam has more than enough lower primary schools, maintaining this State's Education Minister Dr Ranoj Pegu said, only the process of amalgamation could provide neat and strong management for the LP schools. Presently the State has 46 thouand LP schools spread over in 26 thousand villages. Informing this Dr. Pegu said, the amalgamation was presently going in direct direction to ensure proper management of these schools.

On Monday Education Minister Dr Pegu visited Kalika Prasad Rai High School at Barsangon. He announced Rs 50 lakh grant for the development of this school. Dr Pegu interacted with the students.
