GUWAHATI: Education Minister Ranoj Pegu inaugurated Atal Tinkering Labs at Satgaon High School in Guwahati on Saturday.
Atal Tinkering Labs under the NITI Commission and Tinkering labs under the entire education mission is the opportunity to provide schools to build a creative mindset among high school students.
During his speech, the minister said, "It is the age of science and technology. The laboratory will help the students to express the scientific temper latent in them."
Pegu twitted said, "Today I visited Satgaon High School and inspected the Tinkering Labs where students are tinkering with models of automated parking, irrigation, robots, renewable energy etc. The Learn Hill Foundation is the agency providing equipment and training. I hope these laboratories will develop students' scientific concepts and provide them with experience of research and scientific exploration."
The minister said, "Atal Tinkering Labs (ATL) under the NITI Aayog and Tinkering Labs under SSA are facilities to nurture an innovative mindset amongst high school students."
Inspector of School, Kamrup (M) district, Prasanna Bora; Satgaon High School Headmaster Nalini Talukdar, teachers and students of the school were present at the function.
