Assam election: BJP holds public rally-cum-joining programme at Diyungbra

HAFLONG: In the run-up to the Assam Assembly election, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) organized a public rally-cum-joining programme at Diyungbra, 100 km from Haflong on Friday.
The programme was attended by 16 (ST) Haflong BJP candidate Nandita Gorlosa, accompanied by Chief Executive Member of N C Hills Autonomous Council, Debolal Gorlosa, Executive Members Nipolal Hojai and Biswasjeet Daulagupu, and other dignitaries.
Speaking on the occasion, EMs Daulagupu and Hojai explained how the present government-led by the BJP was committed to the betterment of the people of the district. They spoke about the momentum in development activities of the CEM Gorlosa-led NCHAC. They appealed to the voters of Diyungbra to cast their valuable in favour of BJP candidate Nandita Gorlosa, who is the first woman to be nominated by the national party as candidate from the district of Dima Hasao.
CEM Gorlosa, while appreciating the activities of Nandita Gorlosa as Executive Member in charge of education, said that she did a lot for the people even during the pandemic and saved many people. Her activities were always appreciated by the people. Therefore, he hoped that this time an educated woman from Dima Hasao would be made MLA.
BJP candidate Nandita Gorlosa spoke about her objective of contesting the election. She mentioned her various dream projects, including university campus, organic hub and development of tourism.
