Assam: Fake Doctor Held After Pregnant Woman Dies During Treatment

Guwahati: Assam Police on Sunday Night nabbed a fake doctor in state's Boko district.

According to reports, the fake doctor was identified as Ibrahim Ali and had gone missing after a pregnant died following his treatment.

On Sunday, the story got surfaced through a satellite news channel of Assam and taking the cognizance of the same, police scanned every possible places of his whereabouts and apprehended the doctor from Boralimari area.

The police even got hold of a worker from Accredited Social Health Activist (ASHA), named as Munniyara Begum who was claimed to be associated with the treatment.

The police found that he was illegally running the business in his own place in Tamuldi area from a very long time.
