Assam: Foundation day celebrated by Nalbari Sahitya Samaj

NALBARI: Nalbari Sahitya Samaj celebrated its 78th foundation day on Thursday. As per the schedule, the members of Nalbari Sahitya Samaj assembled in the premises and celebrated the day with tree plantation and lightning 78 earthen lamps. Manash Jyoti Sarma, the secretary of Nalbari Sahitya Samaj, conducted the function. Dr Binoy Kumar Mazumdar, Pradip Sarma, Nripendra Kumar Sarma and Ajit Rajbongshi planted trees in the campus of Nalbari Sahitya Samaj. Dr Kabita Choudhury, Kalpana Mishra, Khadeja Begum, and many others associated with Nalbari Sahitya Samaj lit the lamps.
