Assam: Four-day SSB workshop held in Sivasagar concludes

Sivasagar: The four-day workshop on preparation for SSB interview was conducted at Gargaon College, under the aegis of Red Shield Division of Indian Army from July 4 to July 7, 2022. The workshop was jointly organized by 49 Assam Naval unit NCC & 11 Assam Girls (I) coy NCC Gargaon College, in collaboration with 12 Assam Rifles.

Dr Sabyasachi Mahanta, noted columnist and Principal of Gargaon College, while inaugurating the workshop, stressed the need for such workshops to facilitate young students for joining the Armed forces as officers. He also stated that proper guidance wasessential to motivate the young and talented students to take up a career in the Indian Army.

Dr Rina Handique, Vice Principal of Gargaon College, motivated and encouraged the participants to take more benefits out of the workshop and to pursue such a career.

The programme was enriched by resource person Major Jonah Halam of 12 Assam Rifles. The aspirants were given all the necessary guidance and coaching for the SSB interview.
