Assam Freedom fighters' body re-elected

GUWAHATI: The general council of the Assam State Freedom Fighters Association has re-elected its incumbent president Krishna Kanta Lahkar and general secretary Dwijendra Mohan Sarma for a three-year term.

At a two-day meeting held here on March 29 and March 30, the general council also re-elected its incumbent nine-member executive committee.

The meeting also adopted 11 resolutions regarding various issues during its meeting.
