Assam: Government Association demanded Restoration of Old Pension Scheme

JAMUGURIHAT: Assam High School Teachers’ Association (AHSTA) extended its support to the statewide series of demonstrations called on by the All Assam Government NPS Employees’ Association (AAGNPSEA), Shundar kalita, Ramen Duora and Tarun Chandra Nath, president and joint secretaries said. It is to be mentioned here that AAGNPSEA has called on a statewide demonstration from January 20 to January 31 demanding restoration of OPS (Old Pension Scheme) in place of existing NPS.

The Assam High School Teachers’ Association extended its moral support to the demonstration called on by AAGNPSEA and requested all the office bearers of AHSTA to join the mass demonstration in their respective district headquarters, sub-divisional headquarters etc. and to make the statewide demonstration a successful one.
