Assam Government employees distribute essential items to poor families in Demow

DEMOW: After State Health Minister Dr.Himanta Biswa Sarma appealed to State Government employees to help the poor families of their neighbourhood, on Tuesday, government employees Tukheswar Kalita and Shubha Chandra Kalita distributed essential commodities among the poor. Both are residents of Saragua Adarsha Kalita Gaon near Demow. On the other hand, Lakhi Prabha Saikia, a female constable of Bokota Nemuguri Police Station, also distributed essential commodities among the poor families. The essential commodities included rice, potato, mustard oil, dal, soap and biscuits.
