GUWAHATI: Assam Health Minister Keshab Mahanta declared on Thursday at a press conference held at the Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) that the process of certificate re-verification for Grade III and IV posts will begin on May 15 and will last through May 22. Assam State Level Recruitment Commission has conducted the exam.

During the press conference, Mahanta stated that the procedure will begin at 9.00 a.m. on May 15 and that different arrangements will be made for the convenience of differently-abled candidates.

Meanwhile, candidates with serial numbers 1 to 134 and 135 to 268 will be re-verified on May 15, while candidates with serial numbers 135 to 268 will be re-verified on May 16.

Meanwhile, Keshab Mahanta indicated that from May 17, certificate re-verification will be held for students of the recruitment exam's Grade IV posts.

According to him, "re-verification of candidates' certificates from serial numbers 1 to 140 will be conducted on May 17, 141 to 280 on May 18, 281 to 420 on May 19, and 421 to 552 on May 20."

According to Mahanta, on May 22, candidates who have been hired for various positions in the health sector will have their certifications re-verified. A total of 268 individuals were hired for Grade III positions and 558 for Grade IV positions.

The Assam government has also stated that women candidates will be appointed in their home area for their own safety and comfort.
