Assam Gramin Vikash Bank inaugurated e-Stamp vending service

GUWAHATI: Assam Gramin Vikash Bank, the largest Regional Rural Bank of the region has inaugurated its e-stamp vending service on Wednesday from GS Road branch of the bank.

Debashish Gangopadhyay, Chairman of the bank inaugurated the new service in a program wherein senior officials of the bank and Stock Holding Corporation of India (SHCIL) were present.

The bank has opted for vending of e-stamps keeping in view the crisis of pre-printed stamp papers in the market. The services will be available to all section of public and institutions, who are in need of non-judicial stamp papers for various legal documentations. The bank is going to extend the e-stamp vending service through 34 selected branches covering all the districts of Assam, The e-stamp vending service has been implemented in collaboration with Stock Holding Corporation of India (SHCIL), stated a press release.
