The GU team took home the bronze prize in the events for a one-act play, mime, skit, and quiz. Also, the team won first-place runner-up honours in the theatre group.

The team received appreciation from Professor P.J. Handique, Vice Chancellor of Gauhati University; Dr H.K. Nath, Rector of Gauhati University; Dr R.K. Kakati, Director of Students' Welfare; and Dr Jagadish Sarma, Secretary, who also wished them luck in their future endeavours.

On the other hand, On Thursday, three instructors were relieved of their responsibilities in the test centre due to negligence during the High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) exam in Sipajhar, Assam.

The three teachers were allegedly accused of performing their tasks improperly in the examination room, according to the sources. It has been determined that Rinki Barman, Abdul Malik, and Abdul Chauhan are the perpetrators in this case.

The trio had their duty assigned at the Ganeshkunwari Tribal Secondary School in Bahgara, Sipajhar. The teachers' dismissal has been ordered by the Executive Magistrate and Revenue Circle Officer.

On Thursday, an incident took place at the Laharighat Higher Secondary School, where 9 students were exploited during HSLC exam. Eight female students and one male student are among the expelled students.

The expulsion of the pupils was due to their use of unethical tactics to pass their social science exam. Samima Aktara, Mehima Begum, Kasima Khatun, Salma Khatun, Tara Banu, Sahil Alom, Mousumi Begum, Ruptaz Jahan, and Martuja Begum are among the expelled pupils.
