Assam: Indian National Congress Protest against frequent power cuts

DOOMDOOMA: The workers of Indian National Congress (INC) burnt the latest circular issued by the General Manager of Assam Power Distribution Company Limited (APDCL) in protest against the frequent power cuts in the name of load shedding by imposing excessive electricity tariffs on the common people on Friday.

The protesters included Kakpathar Block Congress President Rajen Medhi, Executive President Pradeep Chakraborty, Administrative General Secretary Naren Kairi, Doomdooma Youth Congress Committee President Jutiyal Nayak and former Doomdooma MLA and current Assam Pradesh Congress Committee Secretary Durga Bhumij.
